Farmer Group Halts Janhvi Kapoor’s Shoot, Filming Resumes After Assurance Of Help To Protesters


Fatehgarh Sahib (Pb): Capturing of actor Janhvi Kapoor’s movie “Good Luck Jerry” briefly got here to a halt in Bassi Pathana right here, after a bunch of farmers insisted that she make a touch upon the continued farmers’ protest. Kapoor is capturing for the movie, produced by filmmaker Anand L Rai’s Color Yellow Productions and directed by Sidharth Sengupta, in Punjab.

In accordance with Sukhminder Singh Chauhan, DSP, Bassi Pathana, the incident occurred on Monday after 20-30 farmers reached the film units for a “peaceable” protest. “The capturing had stopped for two-three hours on January 11. There wasn’t something main. Round 20-30 folks had reached the set. It was a peaceable agitation. “All they wished was assurance of assist from them (the actors). After they did, the shoot was resumed. It was mutually resolved. Now the shoot is happening easily,” Chauhan informed .
